State Assembly candidate and Palo Alto City Councilmember Marc Berman has earned the endorsement of the California Professional Firefighters (CPF) in his campaign for the 24th Assembly District.
“Marc has been a leader on public safety and infrastructure issues in Palo Alto, and all Californians will benefit from having his expertise in the State Assembly,” said Lou Paulson, President of the California Professional Firefighters, which represents the state’s 30,000 first responders. “Marc stood with Palo Alto's firefighters to secure funding for a new public safety building and two new fire stations, and CPF is proud to stand with Marc in his campaign.”
“One of my top priorities on the Palo Alto City Council has been rebuilding our aging infrastructure, including the critical public safety facilities that support the first responders who keep our community safe. After decades of trying, we’ve finally fully funded and are in the process of building a new public safety building and two new fire stations,” said Berman. “I’m excited to work with CPF and cities across the 24th Assembly District to make sure that our communities have the facilities necessary to better protect residents and meet current and future demand.”
